Red River

Today we spent the entire day in Red River, NM. As a child, John’s family had a cabin here, so it was fun to see some of the places he visited over 50 years ago. We took the chair lift, or “chair-ousel” as James called it, to the top of the mountain to enjoy the views.

On the way down, Evie’s water bottle fell out of Jim’s backpack (thankfully toward the bottom of the mountain), so we hiked back up about 800’ to find it.

We went to the Red River Brewing Company for dinner, followed by go-karting and ice cream.
