Watson Family Farm

After leaving the Hodge’s cabin, we drove across Eastern Washington and stopped in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho for lunch.

We continued on to Victor, MT, which is about 40 minutes south of Missoula. Our friends, the Watson family, moved here last summer and have been busy fixing the property up since then. We met the Watsons in Austin, where they spent six months for Nate to establish his new job, in between their bike-across-America tour and buying their dream-property in Montana. They have four acres with chickens, goats, cats, and a dog (and several toads and insects in Truitt’s room). Melanie (who I failed to get a picture of!) spoiled us with three home-cooked meals per day! The children enjoyed catching grass hoppers and other insects, building a lake and dam in a dirt pile, and playing legos! We had a wonderful time visiting the Watson Family Farm and hope to visit again!
